Katie McEwan joins us as Chief Strategy Officer
We’re pleased to announce Katie McEwan as Chief Strategy Officer of Cancer Awareness Trust.
The role is designed to turn the strategic vision of the organisation into a clear delivery plan, ensuring long-term sustainable success of Cancer Awareness Trust and its brands, Cancer Platform and Evamore Music.
Previously Business Affairs and Communications Lead at Ann Summers, Katie worked across business strategy, ESG, corporate and brand communications, crisis comms, and Company Secretariat. Her work spanned the organisation's most business-critical priorities, blending strategic insight with clear, values-led messaging.
Prior to that, Katie spent over a decade as Executive Support Manager to the late Jacqueline Gold CBE, CEO of Ann Summers. In 2017, Katie was named a WeAreTheCity Rising Star in the EA/PA category.
Outside of work, Katie is the Musical Director of Southend Vox, a vibrant community choir near her hometown of Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. It’s where she gets to share her love of music and build something joyful with a brilliant group of people.
