To help us achieve our vision to revolutionise the cancer landscape by enabling the success of Cancer Platform and Evamore Music, we’re proud to announce the appointment of our new Board of Trustees, a group of leaders whose experience and compassion reflect the heart of our mission at Cancer Awareness Trust.
Julian Howard – Chair
A prostate cancer survivor, Julian brings lived experience, empathy and a passion for change to his role as Chair. A retired lawyer and former Managing Partner of the international practice at Macfarlanes LLP, he offers extensive expertise in governance, business operations and philanthropy. His commitment to empowering others through knowledge and truth embodies what Cancer Platform stands for.

Professor Tobias Arkenau - Trustee
Professor Tobias Arkenau is a leading consultant Medical Oncologist at HCA Healthcare UK, serving at The LOC and The Harley Street Clinic. As Chief Medical Officer and Global Head of Drug Development at Ellipses Pharma, he brings deep expertise in cancer treatment innovation. With decades of experience advancing oncology research, Tobi’s insight will help guide Cancer Platform to deliver evidence-based information with the potential to change and save lives.
Dr. Timothy Rebbeck - Trustee
Dr. Tim Rebbeck is the Vincent L. Gregory, Jr. Professor of Cancer Prevention at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the US. A world authority on cancer prevention, genetics and global health equity, he leads international collaborations addressing disparities in cancer care and outcomes. His work resonates deeply with Cancer Platform’s shared value that everyone, everywhere, should have access to the knowledge and resources they need when navigating cancer.
Jane Clarke - Trustee
Jane Clarke is one of the UK’s most respected nutritionists and dietitians and author of nine best-selling books. Her pioneering work combines clinical expertise with culinary passion, supporting people living with serious illness, including cancer, from diagnosis through to end-of-life care. Jane’s dedication to nourishing the vulnerable and promoting well-being perfectly complements our desire to guide and support people through every step of their cancer journey.

The Trustees are joined on the Board by Tony Colville (CEO), Katie McEwan (Chief of Strategy), Daniel Woolf (Chief Technology Officer), Mike Sholly (Chief Brand Officer) and Fiona Towlson (Company Secretary).
