We are family foundation

Co-Founded by Nile Rodgers and Nancy Hunt, We Are Family Foundation (WAFF) is a hugely respected non-profit organisation dedicated to the vision of a global family by creating and supporting programs that promote cultural diversity while nurturing and mentoring the vision, talents, and ideas of young people who are positively changing the world.

By coming together, WAFF and Cancer Awareness Trust are leaning into tackling the known inequalities and inequities of access to expert-led cancer information, services and stories. WAFF identifies and supports global young people who are at the forefront of solving some of the world’s greatest challenges, including medical access and inequities as well as detection and treatment of medical issues including cancer. Nile’s own experience of cancer will feed into the design and development of Cancer Platform and will inspire others to do the same. The collaboration supports our mission to engage diverse communities, include young people in the ongoing dialogue, and particularly those adversely affected by the worst cancer outcomes.
